Patrice's journey into the Grail mystery first began at 15 when she happened upon the Spanish city of Gerona in 1955. The young "Patricia", in search of excitement and adventure, left London for Bohemia. She fell in love with the ancient Catalan city, and with its esteemed poet and Grail custodian Josep Tarres. Over the years, Patrice became increasingly involved with the Grail's historic origins, Gerona's private Kabbalist society, and the history and purpose behind Rennes-le-Château.
A Bohemian, trad jazz-loving free spirit in Spain and France during the 50’s and 60’s, Patrice was a familiar face among the existentialist groups led by Jean Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir, and was actively involved in the artistic circles of the day, which included the charismatic talents Jean Cocteau, Umberto Eco and Salvidor Dali, among others. Eventually marrying Charlie Chaplin’s son Michael, the two worked as writers and artists in Hollywood, where Patrice collaborated with greats such as Lauren Bacall and Miles Davis. Today, Patrice continues her work to support the public understanding of the Grail and Rennes-le-Château, maintaining an active designated role for the private society. In her recent memoirs, 'City of Secrets: One Woman's True-life Journey to the Heart of the Grail Legend' and 'The Portal: An Initiate's Journey into the Secret of Rennes-le-Château', Patrice opened the doors to little-known information regarding Gerona's connection as a central component to these subjects.http://mrlazarus.com/
