" [...] Been a seawoman all my life. There’s no-one who knows the Channel better, and there’s no ship better than the Scorpion. [...]"
This was my second reading of the "Truth Sister" series by Phil Gilvin. This time the book has an interesting title - "Scorpion". I love the worlds created by this author. Women rule here, unlike our world. Men play a secondary role. Bravo for your courage. However, it is not a beautiful world. Why? Can women be much worse than men? This question is perfectly answered by the author himself in this book. Perfect descriptions of the situation transported me to that brutal world in my imagination. Good thing it's just literary fiction. Here I met the main characters from the previous part, Clara and Jack. I followed their fate with bated breath. I was afraid for Clara, even though she is a very strong person. How did she end up on a ship called "Scorpion"? Jack didn't have it easy in this part either. "Scorpion" is a sequel to "Blackwolf". Therefore, for a better understanding of the third part, I advise you to read the second part. The third volume begins where the action of the second volume was interrupted. I'm glad the author did this. At least there is plot continuity. If, like me, you love dystopian fiction, you've come to the right place. I must immediately mention that this part is much better than the previous one and probably even more brutal. I'm very happy about this. The perfect plot, wonderful action and interesting characters made me unable to stop reading. A story like this was worth staying up all night for. This part is very exciting. What do you think about human cloning? Would you like to have your own clone? Author Phil Gilvin presented this topic perfectly. I really liked the ending of this part. I hope that the author will continue this story and that soon we will hear about the fourth part of Clara and Jack's adventures. This story is worth recommending. This book is worth reading.

“ [...] Those who seek the emerald city die trying or turn to madness. [...]”
"Knights, witches, and the vanished city" by R.M. Schultz, this is a very interesting fantasy book. Despite not knowing the previous parts, I found myself here very well. The author presented his dark story in a perfect way. I found witches here, a disappearing city that appears in a different place every day and many other attractions. Who will dare to break the curse cast by a certain witch? How do you approach the task? Honestly, I was very afraid for the inhabitants of the Emerald City. Why? You will find out while reading this novel. "Knights, Witches, and the Vanished City" is a perfect fantasy. I'm eager to read the previous parts, and I'm looking forward to the next ones. Here I met the knight Calec, whom I liked from the very beginning. His investigation and pursuit of the truth terrified me from time to time. I would love to see this story on the big screen. The main theme of this book, as I have already mentioned, is a disappearing city and its inhabitants. Will our main hero save the inhabitants of the cursed town? If you like plot twists, I must tell you that there is no shortage of them here. And even I was very surprised more than once. This is a plus for the author. Thriller lovers will also find something here. If, like me, you like dark stories, go ahead and read this book. Who will the villain turn out to be? I won't tell you that. It's worth reading this story to the very end. I really liked the ending. Another plus for the author. This book is so addictive that you can't put it down even for a second.
An original plot, interesting action that doesn't slow down and a great hero, it all deserves my 10/10.
Thanks to "Knights, Witches, and the Vanished City" I became a fan of R.M. Schultz. The author perfectly combines an interesting story with supernatural phenomena. I'll leave you with a question, would you go into a haunted house?

" [...] Never forget that the prayer of a pure soul can work wonders [...]"
The book "A Tale of something new" by D.S. McColgan.I literally read in one day. When I picked up this novel, I didn't expect to receive such a brilliant story. I can honestly tell you that I can't wait for the second part. The author left me at a very important moment. I absolutely need to know the further fate of its characters. Let me also tell you that this story is developed so beautifully that you will be deeply shocked. Initially, I didn't know that this story would take me to a very dark world, full of dangers. The end of the book is a real rollercoaster. I really felt the fate of the main character. Who is she? Her name is Liliana. She is a young woman dreaming of a lover who will find her one day. She helps on the farm. She has two brothers, Frederik and Cedric, a father and grandmother. Her family has farmhands and a maid. Did everyone lead a peaceful life in their village? Unfortunately not. People are dying. Is it rabies? Or maybe other creatures are responsible? Liliana meets a man in strange circumstances. Will she be able to save his life? By checking this mysterious man's home, is she endangering the lives of her family and the villagers? I advise you to have a closer look at this man. The author tells her story in a perfect way. She slowly builds tension and thus attracts the reader. I also encountered some unexpected plot twists here. It's worth reading to the end. If you read fantasy books, there is nothing else you can do but read "A Tale of something new". I guarantee you will have fun while reading. And now a question for the author D.S. McColgan. When will we be able to read the second part? Congratulations on making your dream come true. I've been waiting for a story like this. This book has everything Fantasy should have. I'm in favour of this book, and you? The cover is quite mysterious and very original.

" [...] To defeat the giant without, you must first defeat the giant within. [...]"
Wow! I am extremely impressed by Nicky Heymans' work. Her latest book "Then There Were Giants" won my heart.
Have you ever wondered what life was like for the Israelites who spent 40 years in the desert? Why couldn't they enter their Promised Land right away? Would you like Moses and his family to come to your wedding? I would really like to. I believe that on this beautiful day he was looking at us from Heaven.
Yoram and Samina had a beautiful wedding. You must read about it. I would love to participate and eat food prepared especially for this time.
The main character and narrator was Joshua. Who was he? He was the commander of the Israeli army. Friend and right hand of Moses. Will he be his worthy successor?
Nadeem, Joshua's Arab friend. Trader. They speak different languages, but still try to communicate. What happens when traders are attacked? How will they tell Joshua who attacked them? Can you win the fight against the giants? You will also meet Mesha. Mesha is Joshua's adoptive brother.
The Israelites will wander in the desert for 40 years, and only then will they enter the Promised Land of Cannan. Why so long? This is punishment for their espionage. What were they spying on? Does Yahweh speak to them in dreams? Should we ignore them and turn a blind eye to them? Are you curious what the fight between the Israelites and the Amorites was like? I don't know the previous one part, and it didn't stop me from understanding the story. However, I will have to make up for it someday.
The plot is very engaging, as long as you are interested in Moses. The action is at the right level. The characters are great. The book cover is wonderful. I like reading books related to religion.
I'm glad that the author decided to tackle such a difficult topic. I think she handled it perfectly. She showed us a beautiful and painful story. The Israelites had to face various difficulties during these 40 years. Haven't they lost faith in God after all? Does God still support them?
In my opinion, this book is worth reading. And be careful, there is a high risk of crying while reading.

This time Steve Catto totally surprised me. He created a unique fantasy story. His latest book titled "Into the Darkness" is the first part of the "The Twisted Lands" series. I can honestly tell you that I can't wait for the second volume. I felt the fate of the main characters. Together with them, I wanted to save their worlds and catch the destroyer. Unfortunately, I had no idea who this destroyer could be. I just hoped that the girls would save the mysterious worlds. Are you curious who created these worlds? This novel is very mysterious and page by page reveals its story to us. Are you ready to experience "Into The Darkness"? Very good plot, interesting action and original heroines. I am enchanted by the wonderful cover. For me, this is a masterpiece. I can't take my eyes off this cover. Bravo to its creator. If you are ready for a new Fantasy series, go ahead and read this book. I read "Into The Darkness" in one day. I had a lot of fun reading it. The author uses language that is understandable to every reader. I am satisfied with the descriptions of mysterious worlds. I wonder if you'll pick the destroyer of worlds before he reveals himself. Unfortunately, I didn't succeed.

" [...] Look into your own heart. Leave your anger, hate and destruction behind, these only lead to suffering. Look around you. [...]"
Alex Rushton's book "The Asymmetric Man" is the first part of the "The Blake Carter" trilogy. The author took me into the terrifying world of the Vietnam War. Of course, that's not all I got here. I found corruption, espionage, embezzlement and much more.
The main character is Blake Carter. Thanks to him, I experienced amazing and, of course, very dangerous adventures. The Vietnam War brought tears to my eyes. What Blake experienced there stayed with him forever. The main character is a scientist and works for MI6. He speaks several languages fluently, including Thai, Vietnamese and French. He is an excellent shooter. Under what cover did he go to Saigon? Is he a spy? What is his life like after the Vietnam War? You will learn this and much more while reading.
The author created an extremely dangerous story for him. I was terrified by his experience in the jungle. How did he survive it? Outside the jungle, he also stayed in a certain monastery. What did he learn there, and how did this experience influence his personality?
Alex Rushton created a unique work. It's worth reading this story. The book ends at a point where I want to know its continuation. The plot is interesting, the action is fast-paced with amazing twists and a hero you don't want to stop listening to. Every reader will find something for themselves here.
I forgot to mention that you can't put this book down without knowing the ending. The unique, eye-catching cover also deserves your attention.
Do you agree with the statement that sometimes the only way to find peace is to lose everything? Has Blake found peace on Earth? If you are looking for a colourful story that moves you, you've come to the right place.
I recommend "The Asymmetric Man" to you, and I'm already looking forward to the second part. This was my first encounter with Alex Rushton's work, and I already know it won't be the last.

Read the e-book by J.T. Audsley titled "The Grief of Godless Games" was a pleasure for me. I experienced unforgettable emotions here. There was fear, sweat, tears, terror, but also joy. The volcanic eruption on the island caused huge losses. Honestly, I was very scared. The author created a very apocalyptic landscape. I imagined it. I felt smoke rushing into my throat and eyes. I felt warmth in my feet. Unforgettable feelings. The main characters are: - Akkael - A great warrior. He has a daughter, Alani. I wouldn't wish what happened to him on anyone. Despite everything, I was rooting for him very much - Astrid - is Akkael's wife. Her life won't be a bed of roses either. Will she cope in a brutal world? - Rigpa is the Great Sage and the incarnation of Seraphim himself. Also, noteworthy are Queen Kya and Magar, Akkael's brother. Can the murdered enter the bodies of their murderers? See how J.T. presented it. Audsley. His vision is terrifying. The e-book "The Grief of Godless Games" captivated me from the very beginning. I couldn't stop reading. The mysterious cover is also noteworthy. It draws me to it. It hypnotizes me. Big applause for its creator. The main theme of this book is revenge and a changing world. The author built the world presented in this story from scratch. You will meet strong women and brave men there. After this book, I would like to read another novel by this author. I'm curious what will happen to our heroes this time.

" [...] Staring into the fridge, he imagined veganism was a plot by women to take over the planet by eliminating fertile men. [...]"
"Maybe it's about time" is a literary debut. In my opinion, with this book, the author wanted to show us what the beginning of the Covid pandemic was like in the UK. How NHS workers, wealthy people and, unfortunately, those who could barely make ends meet dealt with it. I'm glad the author presented it from this perspective. Covid-19 has shown us what and who really matters in life. Will our heroes cope with this pandemic? In my opinion, "Maybe it's about time" is a successful literary debut. I haven't cried so much while reading in a long time. The ending gave me a lot to think about. The author left himself a window open to continue this story. I cared about the fate of the children in this novel, and I would love to know what would happen next. Do you like open endings? Does a book always have to have a good ending? "Maybe it's about time" is a big fat book. Still, it's worth reading. I met heroes here such as: Marcus Barlow, the main character, likes listening to music on Spotify. He works at "The Firm". He has a daughter, Olivia, and a son, James. His wife is Alice. Marcus is a stickler and often swears when something doesn't go his way, which annoys his wife. He's paranoid about germs and almost fifty-five years old. At first, I didn't like this hero, but as the pages went on, he gained in my eyes. Why? It is worth knowing its history. The next heroine is a young, single mother. She raises her two children, a five-year-old son and a three-year-old daughter. She can barely make ends meet. I liked this character. Even though life gave her quite a hard time, she always moved forward. She has wonderful neighbours. Unfortunately, she cannot count on her family. Will she find someone to help her during the greatest trial in her life? There is one more hero who deserves attention. But you will find out about them yourself.
I wholeheartedly recommend it.

" [...] I never did anything really awful, but I could never seem to make it home on time. [...]"
It was my first reading encounter with Teresa Burrell's work. The book "The Advocate's Betrayal" is the second volume in the "The Advocate" series. To be honest, I haven't read the first part. Despite this, I found myself well in this story. Initially, the book didn't engage me. It got better as the pages went on. Towards the end, the action accelerated, and I couldn't stop reading. I am delighted with the amazing twist that I did not expect at all. Wow! It was something. It's worth reading books for moments like these. "The Advocate's Betrayal" is a good psychological thriller. We move in legal circles. The main character is lawyer Sabre Brown. Deals with juvenile cases. One day she will have to face a real nightmare. Her friends were murdered. Someone murdered her friend. Her friend's wife becomes the main suspect. Our heroine will become her friend's lawyer. This will be her first murder case. Will she be able to handle it? Thanks to this story, you can answer yourself: What do we really know about our friends? Do they always tell us the truth? I admired Sabre's work. I was also very worried about her. Some scenes stopped my heart for a few seconds. This story is worth reading. I like this author's style. I will be happy to read her next book.

I'll start with the cover. It is delightful and eye-catching. I found several illustrations inside the e-book. I was surprised when I saw these illustrations because I didn't expect them. A plus for the author. "Specular" is the third part of the "Scion Saga" series. I admit that I don't know the previous two volumes. Despite everything, I found myself here very well. Of course, I hope to make up for it someday. The plot is very good. The ending made me think that after some time there might be another part that I will read with pleasure. The action moves at a perfect pace. There is no time for boredom here. We move in different worlds - planets. The main characters are: - Carly Wit, 19 years old, student. She doesn't see her future without Adam. Will the world allow them to be together? I liked this heroine. - Adam, 18 years old, has mutant genes. He is a fierce introvert who loves Carly. His behaviour often irritated me. - Jo, Carly's future mother-in-law. She is a shopaholic. There are even more characters, but I will leave them for you to discover. You will also meet the Afrax Council (Descendant Council). Is she corrupt? Who can be trusted here, and who should be avoided? This book is perfect for Young Adults and all lovers of Science Fiction books. Here, the heroes are endowed with great powers. Is it safe for them? I encourage you to learn about the history hidden on the pages of the novel "Specular".

'What if I told you that the possessor of this watch can go back in time and alter events. Would you believe me?’
The book "Orson the Great" by Colm McElwain is intended for children aged 9-12. Teenagers and adults will also have fun reading it. Author Colm McElwain takes us to a world full of magicians. Do you believe in magic? Do you go to magic shows? I am sceptical about this type of show. Somehow, I don't trust "magicians". In this book, I met a young boy who is 12 years old. His name is Orson Withlock, and he has been a magician for 2 years. He's perfect at what he does. His stage name is Orson the Great. As befits a magician, he also has his assistant. Agatha Anderson is his right-hand woman. How did such a young boy become a powerful magician? I'll be happy to tell you about it myself. This story covers the years 1970-1972. An interesting plot, suspenseful action and a surprising ending that I did not expect which makes this book a must-read. Our young hero will fight the terrifying magician Daxton the Destroyer for the title of Grand Master. Will he be able to handle it? Will he outwit this terrible and very dangerous magician? Be careful. It's very dangerous and very magical here. You will meet various characters. You will visit amazing places, including Edinburgh. I'm glad that author Colm McElwain wrote this book especially for children, showing them that it's worth believing in yourself. Maybe this will make them believe that they can make their dreams come true. Easter is coming for us, and for Orson it's Christmas. Do you want to learn magic tricks? Orson will be happy to show them to you. I recommend this book.

“ [...] You saw a darkness in me. You should have known that darkness would return… [...]”
I can confidently say that in 200 pages, author C.S. Wood created an interesting story. We have a lot of plots and many main characters here. I met, among others: Jared Kader, a 25-year-old sapper, Robert Simpson, a 19-year-old gunner, Oswald Leonard, vice-admiral, Vanessa Griffiths called Ness, Tony Archer, Eleanor Spike, Commander Grenyard, Lieutenant James Crawford and Sir Alan Witherow and his 10-year-old son Todd. Of course, there are many more characters in this book. Therefore, I advise you to read this story very carefully. Pay attention to every detail. This is very important to understand the whole story. This novel is very dark. Here you will encounter a lot of blood, pain, fear, murders and corpses. The perfect gothic story. I didn't expect such an ending, so I'm eager to know the continuation of this story. If you love sea adventures, I encourage you to read "Sabre. The Shattered Oath". The dark cover is also noteworthy. On the one hand, it is mysterious and attractive, and on the other, it causes shivers of terror. This story deserves your attention.
C.S. Wood has a very dark imagination, so I'm afraid of what fate will befall his living characters.
I refer you to the book "Sabre. The Shattered Oath" and I am already looking forward to the second part titled "Sabre. The Rise of the Night Devil".

" [...] Never so alive as when you’re near death, eh? [...] "
This was my third encounter with Guy Hale's work. This time I reached for the third volume in the "The Comeback Trial" series, titled "All the World's a Stage". There's a lot going on here. Jimmy Wayne and his band are going on a European tour. They will visit, among others, Rome and Paris. Will they survive this route? Who will have to die this time for another brilliant Jimmy Wayne song to be created? Let me tell you, this part is the best. I secretly hope that the author will create another volume. I would love to know the further fate of the characters in this part. If you liked Wendy, you can also read about her here. Also, noteworthy is a mysterious old man named John. I think he is an angel. The only question is whether he is a good angel or a bad one? Of course, you will judge it for yourself while reading. In "All the World's a Stage" I found scenes that made me laugh, but there were also moments that completely terrified me. Especially when a "cute" old lady named Ma showed up. Everyone should be afraid of her. She is an exceptional psychopath. In this part, her marital status will change. You'll have to guess for yourself what this will involve. There's never a dull moment with this old lady. It's always bloody with her. In this part, Guy Hale has prepared a lot of surprises for you. Are you ready for this? A fast-paced action with interesting twists, a plot worthy of a world championship and characters that will remain in your memory for a long time - all this makes this book worth reading. I had a lot of fun reading it. The time spent on this book was not wasted. I encourage you to read: "Killing me softly", "Blood on the Tracks" and "All the World's a Stage". You will meet the talented singer Jimmy Wayne, who mysteriously writes his songs after murdering a man. Are you ready for Jimmy Wayne? At the end of the book, I was literally moved. Tears flowed.
I thank the author for these emotions.

Wow! Michael Dane created a perfect work in which he combined my two favourite literary genres: thriller and crime. His "The Rutland Connection" captivates the reader from the very beginning. I met several unique characters here, including:
-Joe Lake, 30 years old; an investigator for 6 years, was assigned to the drugs unit in Nottingham
- Frank McBride OBE, he is a legend. It is worth knowing he's history. His work does not impress everyone. Why?
- Michael Butcher and his grandfather are characters that really annoyed me. His grandfather's combinations will shock many readers.
In the book "The Rutland Connection" I met other uniformed and stupid criminals. The fast-paced action and its twists and turns didn't let me leave this book. The ending made me have to read the next part. I forgot to mention that "The Rutland Connection" is the first book in the "Frank McBride" series. We have perfect crime plots here. We track down smugglers. We also meet the smugglers themselves and their bosses. Will they outsmart customs services and introduce illegal products to the market? Will smugglers fall into ambushes set by customs services? I am impressed by the actions carried out on both sides. The author refined each scene in detail. They are literally perfect. His work as an officer of the National Customs and Excise Investigation Service for over a decade had a significant impact on this story. It's worth getting to know it. Thriller plots kept me in suspense. If, like me, you love crime thrillers, go ahead and read this story. I refer you to "The Rutland Connection" and I am already looking forward to the second volume. I'm very curious to see what happens to Frank McBride in the next story. I secretly hope that soon there will be a lot of talk about this book.

Do you like books with a dark style? David Ebsworth took me to his dark and mysterious world. His book "Blood Among. The Threads" is refined in every detail. I met intriguing characters. I have dealt with surprising deaths. Will the ongoing investigation determine the cause and reason for the deaths of these people? Let me tell you, it won't be that easy. The main character Alfred Neobard Palmer and his girlfriend Ettie Francis will be in danger. Why? Someone really doesn't want the truth to come out. It is worth reading this book to the end. The first person to die will be Widow Rose Wimpole. Who will be next? You will see for yourself when reading this unique story. The beautiful cover is also worth attention. This snake is brilliant. I hope the author will create another such good story soon. The setting of this book is the 19th century. If you like this period, be sure to read "Blood Among. The Threads". This historical thriller charmed me with its uniqueness. The intrigue is perfectly placed here. I encourage you to learn about the fate of Alfred Neobard Palmer. It's impossible to get bored with this hero. Will he and his chosen one be the perfect amateur detectives? I am also delighted with the historical background.

" [...] It’s my duty as a Pole, as a Christian, to help if I can. [...]"
I have always loved books about World War II, so I decided to read "Daughters of Warsaw" by Maria Frances. It is the perfect tearjerker. I couldn't stop crying. This story moved me so much. We move in two periods. The first one is contemporary times, and the second one is the times of World War II. I met two exceptional women here:
- Zofia, I learned her story from September 1942 in Warsaw. She ate my favourite Polish dish called cabbage rolls. You will find out what they are as you read this book. This heroine worked in the Social Welfare Department. She takes an active part in the resistance movement. How did she join Żegota? Who did she help? Why did she decide to risk her life for others? For answers to these questions, I refer you to the book "Daughters of Warsaw". Zofia is a great heroine for me. She lived in very difficult times. Despite everything, she decided to act according to her conscience. It is worth following her example and spreading goodness. I felt strongly about her fate.
- We meet Lizzie in modern times in Seattle. Her great-grandmother is Zofia. This heroine plans to learn the true history of her family. Why did great-grandmother hide her story from her family? Didn't her heroic attitude deserve an award? Does Lizzie's grandmother, Magda, know her mother's whole story? Why didn't she share her story from World War II with her children and grandchildren? I understand that someone who experienced the horrors of World War II did not want to talk about it. On the other hand, it is worth telling younger generations about your history and experiences.
In this book, I met many other unique characters, including Irena Sendler, a Polish woman who saved many Jewish children from the Warsaw Ghetto during World War II.
The author Maria Frances created a unique work showing how strength, love and desperation helped survive World War II. Zofia's family was not very poor. They always had something to eat. Despite everything, our heroine decided to fight for the lives of others. Did it pay off for her? I still cannot understand the hatred of the Nazis towards the Jewish people. What did they do to them? Hitler's obsession with them was terrifying. I liked Lizzie's attitude, who wanted to know her roots at all costs. It's a pity that her mother didn't pursue this topic sooner.
Despite the difficult topic, the book "Daughters of Warsaw" is a very quick read. The plot is powerful, shocking, tear-inducing and very emotional. It is literary fiction, but based on true stories. I am glad that the author described my beloved Poland in her novel. I also found my native language in this novel. This made me cry even more. It was the first time I read such a unique work in which at least three languages mixes. The action of this novel is at an appropriate level. The main characters are unique women who faced difficult choices in their lives.
I encourage you to learn about the fate of Zofia and Lizzie.
This novel is worth recommending.
Learn about the strength and courage of women and men working in the Polish underground during World War II. Was it worth paying the highest price to save Jews?
" [...] It’s my duty as a Pole, as a Christian, to help if I can. [...]"
I have always loved books about World War II, so I decided to read "Daughters of Warsaw" by Maria Frances. It is the perfect tearjerker. I couldn't stop crying. This story moved me so much. We move in two periods. The first one is contemporary times, and the second one is the times of World War II. I...

" [...] There were no boundaries, no rules or decency, just a lawlessness that pervaded everything. [...]"
The true story of a woman soldier in the UK. Brutally honest and shocking. Gemma Morgan tells her story. How did she survive this brutal hell created by her superiors and "friends"? Author Gemma Morgan talks about her Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). How did it happen? How did she deal with it, and what is it like for her to live with it? These questions will be answered by Gemma Morgan herself. I recommend this book to every future soldier because they may suffer from PTSD in the future. It is very scary when young people go through such a terrible trauma that will change their lives forever. From this book, you will also learn about the beginnings of her military service. The author could always count on her husband in her misfortune. I'm glad he didn't abandon her and supported her with all his heart. I don't like it when women in the military are humiliated because of their gender, and when they get pregnant, they quickly lose their jobs. When their health is not good, they cannot count on their superiors. This is sad. I'm glad that Gemma Morgan is speaking openly about this topic and breaking some taboos. I like this biography. Despite the heavy and difficult topic, this novel is a quick read. Let me tell you right away that you will need tissues to read this book. It's a pity that nowadays people with PTSD are ridiculed, insulted, called names and pointed fingers. A little empathy never hurt anyone. Former soldiers need our help, not pigeonholing. They are the ones who guard our well-being. They are the ones defending our country. They see what none of us would ever want to see. Can you imagine being at war now and seeing bloody and dismembered corpses all the time? Do you feel the fear they feel as bullets fly around them? And bombs exploding in the distance? It seems to me that after such traumatic experiences, every soldier suffers from PTSD. The fact that you suffer from PTSD is, in my opinion, nothing to be ashamed of. It is worth reading "Pink Camouflage" and getting to know Gemma Morgan better. Remember, do not judge another person before you get to know them well. Due to poor judgment, you can harm another person. Men, respect women and do not discriminate against them. Gemma Morgan is a hero to me. If you suffer from PTSD, don't be afraid to ask for help.
Gemma Morgan is an Ambassador for the charity ‘Help for Heroes’, supporting wounded, injured and sick British Armed Forces Veterans.

" [...] What was it about this family that always made me descend into the old, chaotic and wild version of myself? [...]"
Wow! I am very impressed by Melanie Price's latest novel titled "My Perfect Family". This is an excellent psychological thriller with great twists that I didn't expect. After reading this book, your jaw drops and you want more. It's a very exciting psychological story. This novel is a tearjerker.
The main character is a perfect character who is impossible not to like. She moves forward to find out what happened to her mom. There are plenty of suspects. Will she make enemies with her stubborn pursuit of truth? Is she in mortal danger?
The main character is Emily Olsen. She is thirty years old and a lawyer. She's coming back from London to Sydney. Why did she return to her hometown? She has a stepfather and a half-sister, with whom she has no close contact. Were they behind her mother's tragic case? Or maybe it was the main character herself who contributed to this tragedy? There are many possibilities, but only one solution. Will you discover the truth before it is revealed?
If you like psychological thrillers, "My Perfect Family" will be perfect for you. Here you will find fast-paced action, a good plot, an interesting heroine and unusual plot twists that turn everything upside down. Be careful with cliffs, they can be very dangerous and even deadly.
After this book, I would love to read another book by Melanie Price. I hope it will be as suspenseful as this story.

“ [...] I had a run-in with her, said some bad things, but fucking hell, I wouldn’t have wished that on anyone. [...]”
I am very impressed with S J Richards' work. This time he created a truly unique work that gave me goosebumps. The ending of "Fog of silence" caused an Armageddon of emotions in me. I was terrified, shocked and didn't know how it would all end. The whole story hidden on the pages of the novel "Fog of Silence" is very interesting and terrifying at the same time. This is an excellent crime thriller. We have some good action here that is slowly gaining momentum. The plot, as you already know, is addictive. The characters here are very convertible. You will meet the creators of television programs and their mysterious parties intended only for young men. Why only for young men? What happens at these celebrity parties? Luke Sackville and his talented team will investigate this case. Who hired them? While reading "Fog of silence" I met, among others, Baz, Helena, Josh, Sam, Rachel and Luke. Luke is the Chief Ethics Officer at Filchers. His hard work is worth having a look at. His subordinates won't have it easy either. The author gave them a really difficult and deadly task. If you love books that will make you experience unforgettable emotions, I refer you to "Fog of Silence" by S J Richards. I secretly hope that this is just pure literary fiction and similar events have never happened.

" [...] Alternately tantalized and terrified by a vague awareness of a mad uncle, I had been garnering courage to make this call for decades. [...]"
When the author was 16, a letter addressed to a mysterious person arrived at her home. This letter turned out to be from her father's unknown brother. She set herself a lifelong mission to find out who he was. Where did this leave her? A very interesting story. It's worth getting to know her. Have you also delved into your family trees? In my family, my father deals with these matters. In my opinion, it is worth getting to know your ancestors. This story promises to be interesting. I like reading family stories. Here we learn the story of the author's three uncles: Louis Middleton, James Forbes and Louis Thomson. Together with the author, we will travel through England, Scotland, France and Belgium. Thanks to this book, I learned, among other things, that eight million horses, donkeys and mules lost their lives in World War I. I learned some information about the typhus epidemic in Serbia. The author put a lot of work into her life's work. I am extremely impressed with this book. I also found here letters written by at least one of the author's uncles. They are very touching. In addition, beautiful contemporary and very old photographs give the book an additional beautiful character. "Three Brave Hearts. Traces of my uncles in the Great War" is a short (almost 200 pages), but very valuable story. I'm glad the author shared her unique family story with us. Thanks to this book, you will see how war traumas affect subsequent generations. If, like me, you like historical novels with the First and Second World Wars in the background, be sure to read this book. The stories hidden here evoke many emotions. Are you ready to hear the tale of Liz Middleton's three uncles?
I recommend.
