One of the most interesting music biographies I've read lately. Paul Stanley talks about his life and career with all his honesty. He frankly confides on highs and lows of Kiss and his personal life. Just amazing tales from one of rock's best vocalists and frontmen.
As a big fan of Kiss I am familiar with vast majority of their music. What I like about this book is It actualy reveals behind the scenes during the process of making albums. Paul reports on his quarrels with Gene and rest of bandmates that took a place during a long Kiss history. Especially in the eighties. This is a madly rushing rollercoaster full of music, sex, booze and girls. But not only that. Stanley actualy admits that deep inside he was not even genuinely happy most of the time. There were many reasons why he felt lonely and depressed.
Book contains a lot of anecdotes about other bands and musicians like The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Guns n' Roses, Bon Jovi and so forth and so on. Great material for every fan of rock music like me, also inspirational. So don't judge a book by it's cover and start to read! And do it immediately! I Highly recommend.
