It was the opposite of the glossy Sunday supplement spread, featuring the successful actor, author, or designer at home, holding a never-used Misono blade over an organic carrot, smiling into the camera, a library of recipe books lining the immaculate, crumbless, stainless kitchen. They’d have none of that in Việt Nam.
