At first, the book seemed to me really extraordinary and absorbing, especially that I'm interested in Icelandic culture, language, geography etc. In fact, after reading I'm a bit disappointed, because of it's style. I don't enjoy reading texts written in common language or even in slang, so I guess that's because I found it rather unfunny. Anyway, the Author has made some interesting remarks about Icelanders and their mentality, so it's worth reading for people interested in this subject. And, by the way, there are some great illustrations.
