The beach. The setting sun. Good deeds. A great read. Football. Coffee. Putting words into sentences. My favourite things.
My work has allowed me to travel a fair bit, and to experience vastly different cultures. To see extreme poverty, yet appreciate the true beauty of the human spirit. To face corruption and confront the tragic consequences of greed and selfishness. To witness hardship, and to marvel at how heroism often arises from the most unlikely of sources. I'm enriched, ruined. Spoiled and bent. Inspired, yet disillusioned. Still, I hope this all serves to shape my writing in good ways. And if not, I've still got the beach, and the sun will still set.
