When Jonah Scott signed for Durand Racing four years ago, everyone thought he’d take them back to their glory days, like his dad and grandpa did before him. Now he’s going into his fourth year in Formula 1 without a world championship under his belt, and everyone is starting to question if he has what it takes, himself included.

As the team’s mistakes and race losses stack up, and the media won’t let him ignore his shortcomings, he does everything he can to avoid media obligations, branding them as enemy number one. Until Olivia Fraser turns up in the paddock and demands his attention.

Despite being told her interest in Formula 1 is nothing more than fancying hot drivers, Olivia Fraser doesn’t let that stop her from claiming her dream job as a Formula 1 presenter. She’s used to being told she doesn’t deserve a place on The Formula Way team, and her knowledge of the sport is constantly called into question. She’s usually able to keep her cool, but when she clashes with Jonah Scott, she finds it harder to bite her tongue than usual.

Rumours spiral, and the two of them are forced on a road trip across Europe to try and put out the fires of the clashes they’ve had in the paddock. Many hours spent in Jonah’s car, a few shared hotel rooms, and a dangerous bet later, they discover they have more in common than they thought and learn that maybe first impressions aren’t always the best.
