OPINIE i DYSKUSJE o książce Artificial Artifacts

"Artificial Artifacts" is John Fennec's first book. I find it hard to believe that this is his debut. This novel is very good.
We are dealing here with artificial intelligence, among other things. I meet with AI from time to time to create photos together. They are not always the way I would like them to be. And what happens when AI starts to interfere more in our lives? Thanks to this book you can find out. Is John Fennec a clairvoyant and has shown us what awaits us in the future? Would you like his visions to come true?
I read the book consisting of several stories very quickly, because their plots were very engaging. The action was not boring, and the characters were very different, some exceptional and some not.
You will get to know several stories that seemingly have nothing in common. We move in different times, including the years: 1848, 2027, 2039 and 2198.
Each story by John Fennec forces us to reflect deeply. I love that in good books. Of course, each story keeps the reader in deep suspense.
Would you like to have a boss who is AI? Or maybe you would like to be controlled by artificial intelligence? And would you like to have at least ten lives?
This book is very real. Artificial intelligence is already entering our lives. Employees are being replaced by it, and what will happen next? Maybe we will have our own AI doppelgangers who will replace us in real life. Who knows? I advise you to read this novel and think about where our world is heading and whether it is going in the right direction?
Is the Age of Artificial Intelligence a harbinger of the end of the world?
My favourite stories are:
- "Rolling Blue-Blackouts", which takes place in the year 2041. We meet Margaret Samson and her strange illness. She suffers from sudden memory loss and a severe addiction to her phone, the internet and social media. She keeps a diary, as it were, in which she describes everything that happened to her. She writes it all down for her doctor. This heroine uses the VeriDate program to chat online. How will it turn out?
- "Year 2198 - Rebirth of Our Past" - if you like Oktoberfest, you will like this story.
- The last story (I won't tell you its title) left me in total shock. I even shed tears. A brilliant story.
It is with great pleasure that I recommend "Artificial Artifacts" to you if you like Sci-fi novels.
I'm eager to read John Fennec's next books.
