This was my first encounter with OC Heaton's work. I didn't mind not knowing the first part of the series, "The Race is on". I found myself perfectly in the story hidden in the book "Green Ray". I met interesting characters whose behaviour led to great danger. By the way, I have to tell you that Heaton put a lot of effort into their precise descriptions. I can see these characters in my mind's eye. As if I was watching a movie. An interesting feeling. My favourite is of course Uma Jakobsdóttir. There were moments when I was very afraid for her. Thank you OC Heaton for these incredible emotions.
Thanks to the author, I've learned that I love Sci-fi thriller books. OC Heaton has created an exceptional work that everyone should read.
I will happily reach for his earlier novel.
