If you like books with a proper dose of humour, then feel free to reach for "The Three Wives of Charlie Mellon" by Ian Siragher.
The main character Charlie Mellon literally walks a thin line. He can fall off it at any moment. He constantly gets into numerous problems. Will he be able to somehow get up from all this? I was rooting for this twisted and crazy character. The author presented Charlie very well. For me, he was the type of smart aleck. You should definitely meet his wives. I wonder which one you will like. My favourite was the one whose name starts with the letter E. You will get to know her while reading. I admire her courage and for sticking by Charlie's side.
At first, I couldn't get into this story. Despite everything, I gave this book a chance. And I honestly don't regret it. It was worth reading "The Three Wives of Charlie Mellon" by Ian Siragher. The best motif of this book was the shoes and the unlucky delivery.
A perfect read to improve your mood. I recommend reading it on rainy days. It's not a heavy read.
