Lars Marius Garshol

I am an author and researcher on traditional farmhouse brewing in Europe. To learn about farmhouse brewing I trawl archive collections, collect old documents, and go on expeditions to remote parts of Europe.

What I have learned I share on my blog, in my books, in research papers and other articles, and in the talks I give.

I used to work as a software engineer, but couldn't stand not having enough time for research and writing, so I quit. Now I will work full-time as a researcher and author until I've used up too much of my savings to go on. You can support me if you want; the better this new "career" pays, the longer I can continue.
