Jay B. Laws

Pisze książki: horror
A San Francisco playwright and writer. His work has appeared in the New York Native, the Castro Times, Advocate Men, and Torso, and he won the 1986 Actors Alley Repertory grand prize for his play A NIGHT FOR COLORED GLASS. STEAM (1991) is his first novel.
THE UNFINISHED, Laws' second and final novel was published posthumously in 1993. It is inventive, fast, funny, scary, surprising and just plain good reading, for gays or straights.
► Laws, who wrote this while dying from AIDS, uses the horror genre as a vehicle to search for closure at life's end. In doing so, he also successfully imparts to readers what it means to be gay in the age of AIDS. ◄ Publishers Weekly, 1993
