 OMG! I haven't read such a dark story in a long time. I admire the imagination of the author, Guy Hale. His "Killing me softly" gave me a lot of chills. Thanks to this story, I experienced a lot of unforgettable emotions. This author knows very well how to attract more readers. I was rooting for the main character. I was very afraid for his life. He was literally facing death at the hands of suspicious people.
Our hero is the failing musician Jimmy Wayne. He has huge debts. He lives on the edge of life. He is in danger of death. One day he wakes up and sees the hanging body of his girlfriend. Was he the one who killed Wendy? He was very scared. On top of all this, he sees her spirit, which tells him what to do with her body. What's more, he finds a song written by him. However, he doesn't remember when he wrote it. This song will become a hit and a ticket to a better world.
Every death Jimmy inflicts is a new, fantastic track. Will he take advantage of it? What will he do to record an album?

 This hero will experience many dangerous situations. Does anyone know about his dark secret? Who can he trust, and who should he avoid?

"Killing me softly" evokes many contradictory emotions in the reader. After the strong action, I expected a different ending. Author Guy Hale left me at a point where I absolutely had to read the second part.
