"Her Father's Daughter" is a shocking psychological thriller. Nothing will be the same after reading it. I wonder about one thing: what makes a person a sociopath and kills others in cold blood? Could the mother of one of the main characters save her son? Why did he follow in his father's footsteps? I liked the main character. She had a difficult childhood as her mother killed herself three days after she was born. The girl's father of 25 years relives it on the anniversary of his wife's death. Does he drag his daughter into his despair? Why does he do this? Will he let his daughter go to college? Everything changes when the body of an old woman is found. It was a terrible sight. Will our Linda recover from this? I felt sorry for our heroine's father. What he wrote to her in 5 acts made me want to throw up. I still have shivers now. I hope this book is just fiction. I liked the book moderately. Reading the descriptions of what was going on in the life of Linda's father I got a little bored. I liked the lyrics about Linda herself. The action sometimes slows down, sometimes gains momentum. You read at your own risk.
