He also makes stuff and tells his stories on his website Tested.com. He lives in San Francisco with his wife, twin boys, and two amazing dogs. Every Tool’s a Hammer is his first book.

Świetna książka. Pełna wielu, bardzo wielu ciekawych spostrzeżeń dotyczących kreatywności, tworzenia, prowadzania projektów, osobistego self-care, zarządzania czasem i tokiem myślenia. Jest w niej też masa przydatnej wiedzy eksperckiej Savage'a na tematy narzędziowe i dotyczące pracy w warsztatach/majsterkowniach. Mimo pozorów nawet ktoś kto nigdy niczego nie spawał/malował/wywiercał i nie ma pojęcia o obsłudze tokarki, pił tarczowych, czy o pracy z akrylem, ołowiem czy aluminium jest w stanie wyciągnąć z tej książki dużo uniwersalnych mądrości, które można wykorzystać w zupełnie innych strefach kreatywności czy zwykłego życia. Adam Savage w tej książce umieścił też dużo spostrzeżeń i opisów jego metod myślenia nad wieloma kwestiami życia codziennego, które dla mnie stanowiły wartość niemal terapeutyczną, i z których myślę że wyciągnąłem wiele. Dla fanów Adama absolutny must have, ale myślę że jest to też książka, którą można spokojnie polecić każdemu - każdy zdecydowanie znajdzie coś dla siebie.
