Susanna Hislop is an actor, writer and director who creates and appears in work for the stage, page and screen. She makes theatre projects as Artistic Director of Slip of Steel; collaborates as a performer and writer in devised theatre and comedy; and works as an actor in theatre, film, TV & radio.
Susanna also writes prose, fiction and journalism and is an editor of the online literary quarterly The Junket. Her first book Stories in the Stars: An Atlas of Constellations was published by Hutchinson/ Penguin Random House in 2014. It was BBC Radio 4’s Book of the Week for Christmas 2014, was published by US Penguin in 2015, and is currently being translated into French, German and Italian.
