Her work is also published in the bestselling anthologies Mothers Who Think: Tales of Real-Life Parenthood and Because I Said So: 33 Mothers Write About Children, Sex, Men, Aging, Faith, Race & Themselves. A former contributor to Salon, Debra recently launched a lifestyle vertical for The Huffington Post and worked on staff as a contributing editor, writing extensively about a broad range of subjects.

In addition to her own writing, Debra is a ghostwriter who helps individuals shepherd books through all stages of publication, from concept to completion. She lived in Paris for over ten years, is a dual French/American citizen, and continues to nurture a delicious love/hate relationship with the French.
